For the seventh year in a row, there's an award in store for the best film in our Official Selection: the GdA Director's Award. The jury is composed of 27 young film viewers, one from each EU country (27 Times Cinema), with filmmaker Nadav Lapid as jury president. A leading film critic, Karel Och, artistic director of the Karlovy Vary Festival, will be guiding the young viewers in their work. In keeping with tradition, the jury's last session will be livestreamed as a way to share the excitement of the verdict with festival audiences and the directors on the Giornate lineup. The deliberations get underway on Friday, September 11th, at 11am.
