In 2023, 100autori and WGI’s rising under-35 filmmakers joined forces to build a new collective consciousness. This panel aims to spotlight the consequences of the erroneous association between a person’s biographical age and the sum of one’s training and professional experiences. Coordinated by Raffaele Grasso, Silvestro Maccariello and Luca Scivoletto and moderated by Boris Sollazzo, made possible by the support of SIAE, the talk on August 30th kicks off a debate that will continue at Giornate degli Autori, when it goes to Rome. As a bridge between the two dates, Giulio Donato’s debut film Labirinti will bow in the Sala Laguna.

Labirinti

Francesco is an introverted kid growing up in the mountains of Calabria. He and his best friend Mimmo are inseparable, up to their adolescence. One day, Francesco finds a book, a sort of magical object that will change the direction his life will take.
