Andrea Purgatori is the new President of the Giornate degli Autori
After a long service as President, Roberto Barzanti co-founder of the Giornate degli Autori in 2004 leaves the Presidence and the journalist and screenwriter Andrea Purgatori succeeds. Barzanti still remains as Honorary President ensuring the relationship with the European Parliament and the UE Commission.
Film critic and veteran fest programmer Giorgio Gosetti is confirmed, as in the past editions, at the direction of the independent section Giornate degli Autori in the frame of the Venice Film Festival with the title of General Delegate.
