Inviting Italy's leading film personalities to compare notes on filmmaking is the raison d'etre behind the Ciak Talk Series at Giornate degli Autori, arranged by the Italian film monthly in collaboration with the independent sidebar of the 76th Venice Film Festival. There will be four talks taking on four different aspects of the Italian film industry in the setting of the Villa degli Autori.
Writer and director Mario Martone, whose film The Mayor of Rione Sanità is in the running for the Golden Lion at Venice this year, takes the stage to reflect on his relationship with his native Naples and its cultural scene, in a talk moderated by Giorgio Gosetti and featuring guests Ciak editor-in-chief Flavio Natalia and film critic Fabio Ferzetti.
